These are delicious cookies have a flavor reminiscent of Sicily and remind me of the Easter holidays I spent in Trapani following the magnificent processions of the Mysteries.

- 400 grams of almond flour
- 20 grams of honey
- 80 grams of candied orange
- 320 grams of sugar
- 140 grams of egg whites
- Icing sugar to taste
- Instructions

- Put in the fridge to set for at least 12 hours.

- Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
Tips to ensure the success of the dish:
- Resting the cookies is important to allow them to lose moisture and maintain their shape.
- The cookies shouldn’t darken too much during baking, so it’s best to check them every now and then. The baking time is approximate and varies from oven to oven.
